Chain Guardians … a ‘Play to Earn’ NFT Anime gaming world
Anime, Japanese style animation, has a major global following in gaming. The most famous Anime would be Pokeman. Pokémon has since become one of the highest-grossing media franchises of all time. The original video game series is the second-best-selling video game franchise with more than 368 million copies sold and one billion mobile downloads and it spawned a hit anime television series that has become the most successful video game adaptation with over 20 seasons and 1,000 episodes in 169 countries.
Anime is huge and growing. Gaming supports media franchises that support brand licensing which further supports gaming. It is a natural extension from anime gaming to NFT anime. Over the past 18 months, the team behind Chain Guardians [CGT] has been working to bring anime characters to the blockchain.
The vision of ChainGuardians is to create one of the world’s most enjoyable blockchain gaming experiences with the combination of traditional gaming concepts with blockchain. This will enable a ‘play to earn’ environment where CGT tokens can be earned for in-game tasks and can be used to buy the highest quality anime design NFTs.
They have developed a parallel multiverse ecosystem with Collectible artwork (NFT) from renowned anime artists. These NFT in-game assets include weapons and armor as well as our Guardian and supporting characters. As NFT collectibles they are of a limited quantity, ensuring they retain their scarcity and value within marketplaces. Users will have the option to buy and sell these assets, initially on secondary Non-Fungible Token marketplaces and the soon-to-launch Chain Guardian marketplace.
Chain Guardians... The game
ChainGuardians is a player-controlled turn-based battle game that is active in real-time; whilst during idling (when a player is not online), advanced AI-based battles can take place governed by a Guardians’ attributes. Guardians will be able to join forces to take down opposing forces and GateKeepers in order to gain: power, credits, armaments, and even ever-evolving powerful world artifacts.
Strategically, conquer: castles, fortresses, and dungeons; or establish campsites with defensive attributes. You can ambush an enemy at night or during daylight. Look to acquire loot and eradicate your enemies, or retreat and call for reinforcements. Participate in Chain-Battles with other players to reap high rewards. Who will come to join your ChainGuardians’ force? Battle in the world of Bitcoin, or expand into the world of Ethereum, Dash and beyond.
Chain Guardians also introduce NFT Mining and BYO NFT into their ecosystem:
NFT Mining
ChainGuardians plan to be the first project to introduce NFT Mining, where popular and rare NFTs can be deployed to mine Chain Guardian Coin (CGC): the official in-game currency for ChainGuardians. Currently Proof-of-Concept (POC) NFT Mining will be expendable to token rewards both inside and outside of their ecosystem through blockchain partnerships.
Bring Your Own (BYO) NFT:
Users with some of the rarest NFT crypto holdings will be able to place their assets into The Colosseum; specific choices will depend on game-lore suitability, popularity, or formal partnership. For example Axies, Etheremon, CryptoBeasties, and Neon District. The power of the NFT will depend on its relative rareness and price. What stage is this at?
Chain guardians have two tokens:
- Chain Guardian Token [CGT]: In-game token used to buy sell NFT collectibles (OTHER)
- Governance Token [CGG]: As a $CGG holder, you will have various governance and voting opportunities including Future Guardians and how powerful they are; Game economics and balancing; Staking APY and token choices, and NFT Mining hash rates to name a few.
